Story
As Vixen and Aquaman talk about his wife, Mera, having left him, the proximity alert on the old Justice League satellite is triggered, signalling the return of Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash, the only members of the old League who do not know what Aquaman has done. Inspecting the satellite, Superman finds a Russian satellite. Aquaman and the League note that Superman and the others are heading for the USSR where the three heroes have already come under fire. Landing, they are confronted by Soviet troops and a new Maestro who uses the keyboard of the original to capture Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. Dale Gunn, Steel and Elongated Man visit Steel's grandfather to ask for his help with the coming diplomatic problems but he is more concerned with the League's recent problems with the law and keeping Steel's name out of things. Steel rejects his grandfather and the aid he has given in setting up the League in Detroit. Superman and the others find Anton Allegro, the original Maestro, held prisoner along with them and are told by the Societ camp commander that one of them is to be executed.
