Using this site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Who you are dealing with
Grab My Slabs is a one-person operation selling from a personal collection. Contact is support@grabmyslabs.com, or the contact form.
Stock is one of a kind
Most books here exist in a quantity of one. Adding a book to your cart reserves that specific physical copy for a limited time so nobody else can take it while you decide. If your hold lapses the book goes back on sale, and it may be gone.
A listing is an invitation to buy, not a guarantee that stock is still available at the moment you check out. Where an order cannot be filled, it is refunded in full, as set out in the refund policy.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown when you check out.
Sales tax is not currently collected. If that changes, any tax due will be shown at checkout before you pay, never added afterwards.
If a price is obviously wrong
Prices here are worked out from market data and applied automatically across thousands of books, so now and again one will come out plainly wrong. Where a price is an obvious error I may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than ship it. I'll tell you as soon as I know and always before it leaves, and you're welcome to buy the book at the corrected price if you still want it. How that refund is handled is in the refund policy.
This covers genuine mistakes, not seller's regret. A book priced low because it is a common book, or because everything here is listed below market value on purpose, is not an error. Once a book has shipped it is yours, whatever it cost.
Payment
Payment is taken at the time of purchase, processed by Stripe. Card details are handled there and never reach this site.
An order is not confirmed until payment clears. Books stay reserved rather than sold until it does, so a declined card does not leave a comic stranded.
Shipping
Postage within the United States is $6.00 for up to 3, $8.00 for 4 to 9, $10.00 for 10 to 12 and $12.95 for 13 or more for raw comics and $11.95 for one or two and $15.95 for three or more for graded books, free over $75 either way. Processing takes 3 to 7 business days, or 2 business days on orders of $25 and over. Those are processing times, not delivery dates. Full detail is on the shipping page.
Returns
No returns for change of mind. Returns accepted where a book is not as described, and in that case the refund is paid once the book is back with me, unless I've told you not to send it. My grade estimate on a raw book is not grounds for a return. Full detail is in the refund policy, which governs.
Grading
Raw books carry my own estimate and are sold on that basis. Graded books carry a third-party grade and certification number, and the grading company's opinion is theirs rather than mine.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape, resell or republish the catalog, and do not attempt to interfere with the site or other people's orders.
Liability
Liability is limited to what you paid for the order in question. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where those rights apply.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the foot of this page reflects the current version.
