Books under $5 are sold on my word: the grade is my honest read of this copy, and anything I spot is written in. If a photo would make the difference, ask and I will do what I can. Story
Phoenix wonders whether she is supposed to stop Mystique from assassinating Graydon Creed, but Prosh tells her they have only to witness and not change history. Mystique discovers the reason why she doesn’t remember killing Graydon Creed, despite having planned to do it, it’s her future self that now prearranges the time-delayed weapon. Once it‘s done, the group is transported back in time again, to the day Destiny died. Mystique walks down to the beach where she is confronted by Legion. He reveals that he killed Destiny, because of the dengerous events she saw in his future. Legion shows Mystique images of the Age of Apocalypse, set in motion by him, and offers Mystique to kill him, but she doesn’t. They are sent back again to right after Carol Danvers erased the files in the Pentagon about the X-Men. Mystique recovers some top secret files and goes home, where she finds out Destiny already knows everything. She begins to look at the files, which tell of all past genetic research at the Black Womb project, when the harnesses kick in again and they are sent back to the day Phoenix died on the moon.
