Story
Written by: Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn Pencils by: Barry Kitson. A League Divided Locus develops a new weapon that creates protoplasmic bodies out of the body parts of others. Giving the Brotherhood the new technology, they attack a small town to create a small army. Martian Manhunter begins to open up about his life on Mars and Flash and Black Canary begin to grow closer together. Upon learning of the Brotherhood's activities, the Justice League meet a new team of outsiders, the Doom Patrol, and attempt to save the townspeople, only to find themselves victim of the same technology when the Brain makes a body out of Martian Manhunter's eyes, Green Lantern's arm (with ring), Flash's legs, and Black Canary's voice. *This issue contains the first letter pages for the series Cover price $1.95.
